Many of us have a list of guns that we want to purchase whats on yours?

My list:
Glock 22, 37, and 36
Springfield XD sub compact 3''
Springfield 1911 & EMP
SMITH & WESSON SIGMA .40 S&W HANDGUN
SMITH & WESSON MODEL 642 .38 SPECIAL REVOLVER

This is what i want but that does not mean i will get them and that is just handguns. it's a shame ammo and firearms cost so much

I'm lobbying the wife for a EBR (evil black rifle, as it's sometimes called). Not because I really need one, but I'm thinking they won't be around for long, and I want one before they're banned.
I'm thinking of a Beretta in .223 or somthing like that.
My wife is totally fine with any gun I own, but the money thing.... You know.
Other than that, I'm well set.

Listed according to desire:

1. F-16 Fighter
2. SR 71
3. M1 Abrams Tank
4. Humvee w/.50 Cal Mounted on top
5. Gau 8 Cannon from A-10 Aircraft
6. NIB Browning Auto .22 from the 60's/had one, sold it

If 1 thru 5 happen to be illegal, I would settle for a nice Sig to conceal carry :)

It's so hard to choose.

1- Glock 20c (10mm is an awesome round, and I do still live in wolf, moose, and grizzly terrotory)

2- Glock 21 SF (cause everyone should have a 45)

3- Kahr KP9093 9mm ( seem's like an excellent CW, does anyone have an opinion or insight on Kahr's newer line)

4- Walther ppk...Bond...james bond! (yes i know it's a girls gun, (no offence Di)

The only gun on my list is another .22, so the wife and I don't have to trade off at the range. Doubt it'll be another Ruger though. Might go Buck Mark this time.

If I own the gun, I'm gonna want to shoot it every weekend! Having 20 different guns would drive me crazy! I'd spend more time cleaning them than shooting them.

What about that new-fangled "Metalstorm"? That'd raise a few hairs! :D
Reloading ammo would be a hassle though.

Seriously now, did I leave out the Metalstorm? :?: I knew there was one more....

P.S. I know someone is gonna ask: No, I'm not gonna hold the GAU 8 Cannon and fire it. DUHHH! It weighs 1000 lb loaded. It's for my '46 CJ2A Jeep.

It really isn't that impressive, but it's a blast to shoot. Go for the soft skin, cause an uparmored will get stuck in stuff a chevy s10 could through...lol. And the M2....well it's lowest bidder, and is almost as picky as a 1911. But it makes such a cool sound..Thump Thump Thump...and chews through concrete like it's nothing.

There is a big difference between accumulating guns and buying them to use. You will find out the list never ends. After you fill your third safe you realize it is a never ending proposition.

Shoot what you have and buy more ammo than guns.

Some of us must live in the real world ... OK I mean I must ... so like Huey Lewis sang back in the early 80's "I get a check on Friday, and its already spent" ... so I'll be glad when I can add a pair of Taurus Millenium PTs, a .40 for me ... and a 9 {regular or 'kurtz') for my wife (depending on what she likes} and actually have something (for each of us) to carry (Feedback on these, Anyone?) ... maybe we'll get there before the 4yr permits we haven't been able to get yet run out .... ... oh well ...
(perhaps even being here to addd some comments is a dream ...)
(note: last line written with a big "SIGH" and  )

As to "GUN WISH LIST" ... just give me one of everthing and two of all the great ones ... hehe. ... ... oh and OUTLAW ... Make mine an F-15 EAGLE ... which, if I recall, has never been downed by enemy fire to this day. (at least I believe, none in a dog fight / air to air) ...

Actually my revised full list is:
1. Pair of Taurus PT's (140 for me ... 111 or 138 for my better half)
2. Remington 870 12ga. (need this for evil geese ... among other things)
3. Savage 111 in .30'06.

Anything beyond this is gravy. And here in Indiana - even the 3'rd one is more of a 'want' than a 'need' since we don't have a rilfe season for me to use it in. ... But then I've got something for 'all seasons', needs and foreseable uses. ...

Hope we all get to fill our wish lists ...

"Brother" Bill
(still hunting for my quote / sig line ...)

1. Glock 27, 40 SW
2. a pair of Ruger LCP, .380's (one for me and one for my g/f)
3. Desert Eagle Mark XIX, 44M in chrome
4. S&W Model 27 classic, 357M
5. Steyr Arms HS50, 50BMG rifle (still browsing on scope possibilities)

After 50+ years of gun-trading and outright buying, I am glad to say that I have nothing on my list. I have what I need AND what I want. Something may come along that I can't resist, but I'm happy as is and if I never acquire another gun, long or short, I will be just fine.

Well, here's my list. Some are for carry, some aren't.

1) Colt SAA generation 1 or 3
2) S&W model 21 with 3" barrel (not a new one, one with the firing pin where it belongs on the hammer!)
3) Winchester Model 12 in 16Ga
4) Lever Action in .357 or .44 Mag
5) Kel-Tec P3AT or Ruger LCP

There are plenty more on my list, but these are what I'd trade a couple toes for.

Some of us like to accumulate some and shoot some others. If you can afford to, why not? I for one will continue to collect. When asked by friends, neighbors, etc. how many guns I have, my reply is; "More than I need, not as many as I want." If we only owned what we "need," we would only have one, or two. As a side effect, I also accumulate gun safes.

My want list includes a WW 2 vintage 1911, a Springfield SoCom and an AK47, just cuz I want 'em.

My Great-Granddad (rest his soul!) and I were talking guns -- or, rather, he was talking and I was listening carefully -- and he allowed as he was like a coon: if he saw it and it was shiny, he wanted it!
I think I inherited his Want-It genes...
And they don't have to be shiny!
(+1 on the EBR!)

If that last line is a reference to my post, look a little closer

That mag has not .223 in it, but .410 shells. :12g:

Granted, it "only" holds ten of them, but I bet it will fire .45LC, too.

It's not exactly concealed-carry, but I bet it would take out a few zombies. Or goblins, pick one.

My last purchase was a Sig P-220 (older model). Best handgun I've ever held. I just need a 30-06 or 7MM left handed bolt action rifle and my heart will be happy!

More than "looking" now. It's ordered! I should have my new S&W .500 with 4" barrel on Tuesday. I was greatly surprised that my dealer found a wholesaler who had one ready to go. I was pretty sure that following the election, the inventory of available .50 calibers would go in a hurry. A bit early for Christmas, but maybe my wife will forget about it between now and then? Hum ......

After the first of the year, I would like to purchase another XD9mm sub-compact and a Thompson-Center Icon in either 30cal. or 308cal.

Hopefully there will be a Dragunov SVD available in late Feb/early March. Also still looking forward to a German K98 Mauser (stamps intact), Yugo M48 Mauser, and a nice stainless Taurus .357 revolver.
