That's what comes from walking around with your finger on the trigger! That's a number one no no. Very scary!

In fact, the exact same thing happened when I went shooting with a couple of friends a year or two ago. This one fellow was inexperienced and poorly trained. He finished shooting at the target downrange, and walked up to us. He shot the dirt right at our feet! The first words out his mouth were "The gun went off all by itself!" Yeah, right. My friend said he thought he was going to throw up, it scared him so bad. I laid into the guy and "explained" that guns do not "go off all by themselves," and that he better damn well keep his finger off the trigger, and out of the trigger guard unless he is aiming at a target he intends to shoot.

Yikes... that almost made me flinch. It's a shame things like that happen, and I wish everyone had strong safety habits. Nobody is immune from making mistakes though and hopefully this video will remind us all to keep safety the top priority when handling firearms. Luckily nobody was hurt!
