Please help me figure out what these are worth!

My dad came into possession of 3 very nice firearms. Not really even sure he wants to sell them but would like to figure out about what they are worth incase he ever does decide. All of these are NIB, never fired. Looked around a lil on gunbroker but hard to tell if I am comparing apples to apples. Any info is appreciated.

First up is a Colt .45 Model 1971 MK IV Series 70. The paperwork in the box says the gun was made in 1978. According to the info on the box its 5" barrel and nickel finish.

2nd is a S&W Model 629 .44 with a 8 3/8 barrel

I wouldn't trust any prices for those you may get on the Internet, or at a gun shop. Each of those brands has a collector's association. I'd give look them up and check directly with them for an honest estimate.

Either that, or I'll give you $50.00 for all of them right now. 8)

LKQSJH, Good luck getting much feed back here. this is a CCW site. There are many other sites that you can get honest feedback on values. Your firearms are very common and they are worth what someone will pay you.
