I think later versions had 20mm guns, but a 105mm would've been a bit large for aircraft use.

I had the wrong Puff - The second version or later one had the 105

The gunship's sole user is the United States Air Force, which uses AC-130H Spectre and AC-130U Spooky variants. The AC-130 is powered by four turboprops and has an armament ranging from 20 mm Gatling guns to 105 mm howitzers. It has a standard crew of twelve to thirteen Airmen, including five officers (two pilots, a navigator, an electronic warfare officer and a fire control officer) and enlisted personnel (flight engineer, electronics operators and aerial gunners).

I bet either one of them would have been a real show!!!!

The Air Force used the C47 (Puff The Magic Dragon), C119, C123, C130A and C130E's as gunships during Vietnam. I was stationed at Ubon Thailand in 69-70 and worked the AC 130A's of the 16th SOS squadron. Our Specters had 20mm, 7.62 and 40mm guns on them. Towards the end of my tour they prototyped the 105mm on 1 or 2 of our 6 gunships. One of our gunships was the first C130 accepted by the Air Force it was known as " The First Lady". I last saw her in Panama just after the invasion of Panama.
