I am thinking about buying the bare asset w/clip from highnoon. Looking for input from those of you who have carried IWB for awhile as to how well the clips work .

I don't carry in a High Noon and while I'm familiar with the name, I can't say I'm familiar with the product. That said, I carry in a CTAC from http://www.comptac.com, and the IWB clips work great for me. If I don't like the position, I just slip the clips loose, put the holster where I want it, then slip the belt back into the clips securely, and it doesn't move an inch. The way I carry (that being, "almost any time I'm dressed in other than just sweats"), I could as easily carry with loops since I'll carry an empty holster if I have to, but the CTAC comes with clips, so that's what I use.
I don't know if this is any help to you, but I hope so.
Blessings,
B

Hey there BoR.. any info I recieve from this post will be of help..LOL. thanks to all who can give any input to this. Harold
I had a Bare Asset, was nice but I sent it back within trial period and got the Alter Ego instead. This is a very good holster, after you get used to it, which takes some time. In either holster I found both to shift around a bit, but not so much as to hinder a good draw. Besides the Alter Ego is tuckable.

I've been carrying for over twenty years and prefer loops. I thread my belt through the loops, and it's a chore to do that as the belt properly fits the loops. :)
I have one holster that is a clip type that I infrequently use. It's a Mitch Rosen Holster for my PM9. I don't carry the PM9 very much, but still demand a quality holster for every gun I carry.
I tried a High Noon Holster for that same PM9. It went in the trash and I gave Mitch a call.
