I thought it was a joke until I read the article. Obama says he supports the RKBA. Does anyone believe him?

I think it's fair to say it is a joke. They also have a story about the "new ambulances" (hearses) that will take sick patients directly to the graveyard. The story is listed with a byline of "Rigot Maurtis".

Still, it's funny, and so, so true. I'd let one of the kids Bush was reading to in 2001 run the country before I'd vote for Hitlery Klinton.

Now if McCain and Huckabee will only drop out of the race, Ron Paul will actually be able to stand on the Constitutional principles on which our nation was founded and the donkeys don't have a chance. (I'm not wishing ill on either of them, but maybe some kind of embarrassment that would be enough to make them fold... C'mon, surely SOMEone has some dirt on them!)

Blessings,
B

Joke, or no joke? Who knows. Those wacky KKKs are likely to do anything.

But a little background may be in order. My next door neighbor, and best friend, Henri, happens to be black. His daughter, Stephanie, was the supervising nurse at my local hospital. I had a back injury and had to go to the hospital ER yesterday. I was treated really well at the hospital, and released. When I got home, I learned that my neighbor had his daughter call the hospital and tell them that her Uncle (me) was coming in for treatment. Nobody at the hospital said anything to me about that. This morning, I told my wife that I had been thinking about that situation all night, and that I determined that if I was Stephanies's Uncle, then Hneri was my brother, and that I was proud to have a brother like Henri. Only, I would hesitate to tell anyone that he's a Democrat. She conveyed that message to Henri in an email. Then, Henri sent us the link to this KKK, Obama article. Very funny!

I noted earlier how the article on the "new ambulances" was reportedly written by "Rigot Maurtis". I totally missed the author of the KKK article:

James R. Crowe

Anyone remember the name of the laws written after the War of Northern Aggression to control the former slaves?

I recall in an article on the history of concealed carry, that anti-concealed carry laws were passed to keep the former slaves from carrying firearms. It seems if you were white you were never prosecuted for carrying concealed, only if you were black. Someone said that here in Illinois the FOID card (Firearm Owners ID) legislation was passed in the 60's to discourage blacks from keeping firearms. Just the fact that it is issued by the Illinois State Police, could dampen the desire to apply. These are the folks who this year decided not to issue FOID cards to anyone under 10 years old, even though there is no set age requirement. I imagine that there is a lot of truth in that.

Someone said that they passed anti-concealed carry legislation in Illinois because the mob was having trouble collecting protection money.
