Liability insurance, yes or no. what are your thoughts and where should one look for this type of insurance?

I went through the paper work and signed up for pre-paid legal. The numbers worked out good.

You can get an atty on the phone and there is an option for Identity Theft Protection.

As an Instructor I have to have some insurance. As a CCW Permit carrier, we all need to think about legal services.

I have a number of liability policies. My homeowners is the first line of defense. Shop to make sure that self defense is not excluded.

NRA offers a number of others, particularly designed for gun owners and carriers... and if you are an NRA instructor, then there is Instructor insurance that gives you an additional rider when you are training.
