House:

There are two GOOD House bills to be heard on this Tuesday, March 4th - HB-1071 & HB-1075

HB-1071 provides immunity from criminal or civil liability for the use of up to deadly force against someone who has entered your home illegally and is committing or intends to commit a crime in addition to that against a person or property.

HB-1075 is essentially the same bill but provides for immunity in your place of business as well.

Another GOOD House bill will be heard on Wednesday, March 5th - HB-1060

HB-1060 is another 'castle doctrine' type law which provides immunity from civil suits for protecting your home from certain types of crimes. It is cosponsored by 8 of the 22 members of the Judiciary committee.
