Server Response Time

Is the carryconcealed server just a bit slow to respond? I frequent a number of forums, and am online a lot. I've noticed that our server doesn't respond nearly as quickly as others I visit. The delays seem to be across the board. Initial access and changing threads are both slow. Posting is dreadfully slow. So slow, if fact, that a couple of times I wondered if it had timed out.

I'm pretty sure the problem is not at my end. Other sites are behaving properly at the same time that carryconcealed is not. My cable connection bandwidth is super fast. I'm computer savvy, so I can say with some confidence that my machine is working 100% OK.

I have noticed it today is slow - I will see what is going on and post a reply - Slow bad - fast good.

Keep any problems or suggestions comming. The only way we can improve is to know there is a problem!!

It's been very slow since I posted about it. This morning it was slow. Now, this afternoon, response time has greatly improved. I just thought I'd let you know in case you needed the feedback.

Edit: Even though the topic links are responding faster, the Submit function is still really slow. It took 48 seconds for the above message to post. That's forever in computer time!

Please keep track. We have a commitment to get this faster and will not put up with a slow site.

I will be working with them on our upgrade, but we need to watch the times to let them know if it is better or worse.

They made changes at the web hosting to increase performance..

For the last couple of days everything has been good. I'll let you know if it gets slow again, but for now it looks OK.

This morning the Submit function is running slow again. I submitted three times, two posts and one PM. All three were slow.

I noticed that the server was responding slow again last night, and it is still sluggish this morning. Until last night, it has been running fine since my last post.

I've noticed that the submit time has been slow again for the last couple of days. The other response times seem OK.

I was on several other sites today and it was painful. I will not put up with it. Thanks and keep us posted.
