It is pretty clear that neither of the Deomocratic candidates are gun lovers, and that the Deomcratic party in general is more anti-gun than pro, and that gun owners have found a home (lesser of two evils) in the Republican party.

Has anyone watched any of the election results? Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like the Republican candidates (yes, there are two, or at least there were as of last night - not the point) total vote tally is less than one half of the Democrat that lost the election!

Where are the Republican voters?

Did they not go out because they didn't like the candidate?
Do they just not care?
Are we (as conservatives) really that out numbered?

It just galls me, to see people happy to vote in the Mideast, where they could be killed or tortured for trying to vote, and when I cast my ballot at 6:00 on Super Tuesday, I was number 501! 500 people showed up to vote before me in the 10 hours before I got there. My city has 5 wards, and 55,000 people (so 11,000 per ward - rough math) and 50 people per hour showed up to vote! WTF!!!???

Please, if you know someone, gun owners especially, but actually ANYONE, who tells you they just don't bother to vote - kick them square in the groinal area, TWICE.

Fear not Tuna. Here in Texas, most republicans, me included, knew McCain had the nomination before last nights primary. Many crossed over party lines to vote for the democratic candidate they think McCain can beat. In November, it will be back to the republican party, although I really don't care that much for McCain. That's all we got though.

I certainly hope that you are right, SW, about the Republican crossover vote. I got up this morning to discover that the vampire had somehow managed to pull out the stake and arise from her premature coffin. One of the worst outcomes will be that we will have to watch the posturing and boasting of that pompous ass, Monica's ex-boyfriend.

But it sure does keep the politics-as-entertainment value high. Bread and circuses forever!

Were there not three, only two of whom are ever mentioned?

McCain, Huckabee, Paul? Paul is still in the race, and I only heard today that Huckabee dropped. I still say this is who we need to get in office, not the RINO.

Blessings,
