This is a forum about CCW, and I understand that handguns, knives, and other pro-active defense items are the norm here, but I have a reasonably high risk job with my share of unnerving situations. I wear kevlar on a daily basis at work, and it's never been spotted - a testament to the average person's lack of observational skills- I wonder if there is any legal implication to being armed and armored if I am forced to defend myself in an occupational setting.

Speaking as a retired lawyer, I don't see any legal down side to being prepared with armor in a high risk work setting. In fact, I don't see any down side in wearing armor in any setting. Assuming you're not the one robbing the bank, what possible offense could anyone take at your being extra cautious?
