Have any of you ever used a holster shirt to conceal? How does it affect the weapon's accessibility and speed of draw? Summertime is coming up, and I'm really not willing to change my entire wardrobe to conceal my gun. I own a smartcarry, but the slowness of the draw as well as the difficulty in drawing while sitting down don't really make it a viable choice for all day everyday carry.

I was looking at holster shirts and found this one.

Does anyone have experience with these?

Looks like summer and global warming will change the way we carry.
I don't change the firearms I carry in warm climates. I use an IWB holster and then just wear an tropical shirt unbuttoned or buttoned up if large enough to clear for presentation over a t shirt.

What most people don't do is practice and train with what they wear. If you change firearm, holster or type of clothing practice using that. Shooting at a square range with square targets and not from concealment is looking for disaster when you are under stress.

Train as you fight, because you will fight as you train.

Ah, another piece of tactical clothing! I just wear a regular, summer-weight, short-sleeved shirt unbuttoned and untucked. Nobody's ever looked twice and I've been doing it for fifty years. Of course, when I'm in a tactical mood the knee- and elbow-pads do draw a few stares.

Oh brother! This is really the absolute limit of absurdity. I only hope you were writing tongue in cheek.

Just in case there's anyone reading this who hasn't heard: (1) There is no reliable evidence that the planet is warming, and (2) There is no credible evidence at all that any warming that has been noticed is man made. So, this entire global warming nonsense is a crock.

The earth is a crock pot, warming slowly?

Just for the record deep concealment holsters/shirt holsters are not easy to get to and dealing with buttons and such make for a very slow draw. I do have one but do not use it unless I really have to. I prefer IWB KRAMER and agree what ever duty holster you choose practice with the equipment is the second most important thing you can do. The first is engaging the brain before reaching for the weapon.

The problem that I encounter when it comes to practicing is a place to do it. Where I live, there is nowhere to go anymore. There are indoor ranges, but they prohibit holsters. It's a big problem.
