Bob is a "Break Out Bag" If you have to leave your home because of a natural disaster or terror attack.

I have several and this is one of the best that I have seen. One of our advisors went to the range with us and showed it off.

He got it at Cheaperthandirt.com for about $40 for the bag. Guns are extra... :D

It also has shoulder straps and room for pistol, emergancy kit, shotgun, AK or AR extra mags. It just needs a pocket or two for papers.

The only one better was in the movie the "Mummy" with Brandan Frazier. That roll of guns was a never ending supply of ammo and guns.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

I have no objection to the weapons going with in an evacuation scenario. But, my idea a BOB would have to include items such as first aid kit, nutrition bars, water, cash, radio, lights, thermal blanket, and other basic survival stuff. It would also be a good idea to always keep at least a half tank of gas in the car, and a jerry can or two in the garage.

The picture was taken at the range and it was not at its "Bob' State. I posted as an example of a low cost one that some one had. He did have a med kit in, but not all of the other stuff.

If the Rifle and shotguns were unloaded, and the shells kept in the separate bag and locked, this would pass most state laws for transportation. If the owner had a CCW then the pistol could be loaded.

I was surprised by the $40 price. :)

Any suggestions on med kits, food kits?

In my opinion i think it would ne best to have a military duffle bag that you can put clothing food and some first aid, in addition to another bag or BOB for your weapons, that $40 bag does look like something that would be used for a excellent day at the range though.
