As Sandhiller wrote this would be very useful information for anyone traveling out of their home state. Indiana does not require that you notify Law Enforcement that you are carrying. Of course there are times and circunstances that it may not be a bad idea to do so.

Ohio:
Required to notify only if you are carrying.

(Ohio, home of Stupid Laws!
It is unlawful to back any motor vehicle into any traveled thoroughfare.
This effectively outlaws pull-in parking.)

(Ohio, home of stupid laws!
No drunkard may drive any but a wheelbarrow on any public roadway.
Maybe this isn't so stupid after all. If he's too drunk to drive, he can always hop in and wheel himself home.)

(Ohio, home of stupid laws!
No horse shall wear any but a plain black harness on Sunday!)

Regarding Ohio Law, Besides notifiying a LEO that you have a CHL and are carrying, be certain to not reach for or touch your firearm. Your hands should remain on the steering wheel until given instructions to do otherwise. If stopped at night, put the interior lights on also.

Slowly but surely I am checking on this around the country.

VA and PA have no such requirement. NE does.

In alaska, it is a requiremen to notify an LEO that you are carrying, actually it is a misdemeanor not to, and grounds for immediate revocation of your license (should you actually have one since it's not required). That is one of three laws governing CCW in AK. Along with it the fact that it is prohibited to carry a Concealed weapon into a private residence without the owners expressed permission and knowledge. And of course no firearms in federal/state buildings.
