That article deals with strip seaches, but I wonder if there has been any lawsuit in favor of people who had their vehicle searched without permission or probable cause. I would not allow law enforcement to seach my vehicle in Illinois. They are likely to find a cased gun in it, unloaded and legal, but since many are clueless on what the transportation statutes are I could be arrested anyway.
