I know the legal arguments for state restrictions on carry in prohibited areas, especially here in the state of Texas; however, I still maintain that I have an inalienable right to carry that supersedes Texas law, and so I increasingly ignore state prescribed signs in hospitals, nursing homes, etc. Texas law aside, as a pastor of a church that has no policy on the books about concealed carry, I openly discuss concealed-carry with members in our church; on any given Sunday, a half dozen men in our church are armed (we're a small group of about 150 in the Dallas area), I resent the fact that Texas law infringes upon my second amendment right, and I anticipate that my disdain for such laws will increase if Hillary or Barak is elected President-God help us. I look forward to the day when all prohibitions to carry are abolished; it might come about only through violence; it will certainly come about through violence if the state or federal government moves toward further restrictions. Come and take it.
