I expect that many folks here have heard about Max Motors a car dealer in Butler Missouri offering either a handgun or $250 in gas with a car purchase. On the news on an area TV station from Missouri the anchor woman mentioned the story. She kind of matter of factly said, most people were choosing a semi-automatic, as it holds more rounds than a revolver.
I was wondering how people thought that would go over where they live? I remember a bank, Bank of Goreville, here in southern Illinois that around 20 years ago offered a gun as a premium if you purchased a large CD.
The guy at Max motors who thought of this is getting a lot of free advertizing out of this offer. I heard a story about in on the radio as well.
