Ammo used: Factory Federal 45 ACP
Shot 100 rounds.
10 Mags of 10.

I had to tap, rack, bang about 3-5 times PER magazine.
Taurus tells me to try another brand of ammo before we entertain sending back to them. No weapon should malfunction this much. Not impressed to say the least with this new firearm. My Springfield XD 45 eats anything fed and never a malfunction or jam after 2000 + rounds.

Could be ammo. I have a Stainless PT145 3rd gen. that eats anything. About 1500 rounds so far. Not one problem. This is my daily carry.

I had a similar experience with my Kimber when it was new. It stopped misbehaving after the first field strip, cleaning, and good lubrication job. As I recall, I shot 200 rounds more or less the first day, and had problems. I've never had a problem since then. I hope it works the same for you.

I can't recall a single failure to feed, fire, extract, or eject from my PT140. My Beretta PX4 had a failure to eject once or twice when still new, but it's not malfunctioned in the last few hundred rounds. Throughly impressed with my Taurus.
