I like the trijicon night sites. They are a Tricium Phosphor material, and glow for a guaranteed 12 years. I once saw them in my closet in the middle of the might up on a shelf and I wondered whta animal was up there. I felt pretty stupid when I got up to check on it. But I wasnt really awake either.

My Kimber has Meprolight sights, which are Tritium based glow in the dark. There are two small dots that glow on the rear sight, and one on the front sight. I've had my Kimber about 5 years now, and the sights are glowing just as brightly as ever. They are easy to use.

As I don't have a weapon on which these'd fit, I've not tried them myself, but they look very workable and intuitive. See what you think:

This is the first I've seen of those, I think I'd like to see them in real life, they look interesting anyway.

It is too bad they do not work on 1911's.
