Welcome to the new Carryconcealed.net site. We have lots of work to do, but feel that the upgrades are going to be worth the effort!
If you have any problems please fill out the contact form, we will be checking as much as we can.
Let us know if you like the new software!

The site looks great ... but ... where are all the old topics and discussion threads? Everything I go into says "NO NEW POSTS IN LAST 30 DAYS" ... ? Am I missing a setting or something?
thanks
(this feels like I'm standing in huge room with all the lights off wondering if I'm alone or not)

At the top of the page you'll see a tab labeled "User CP". Click that and go to "Edit Options" on the left side. Now scroll down till you see "Thread display options" and "Default Thread Age cutoff" Now set that to "Display all threads". Voila! All better. :)

BoR ... Thanks for the help ...
I can now see all the threads ... but were some lost in transition? I would 'swear' I had a post in August ... and in reply to a thread that seems to be MIA.
I posted right after I mailed my permit app to the state police (and I think it was a reply to a thread by BearPoop in the New to CCW folder) ... and I looked through ALL my postes (through the member statistics to find all of them) and can't find the one from early august
... I wanted to add to it ... that this weekend (I think 4 weeks, but I needed the thread to check the date) ... I got it :) YEAH!!.
anyway just checking ... I do like the new look and it does seem like a faster sight.
Good Job and thanks for the hard work to all the mod's and admin team for update!

Actually, I just scrolled through all the treads / forums ... and everything from Aug. 27 this year up to the update seems to be missing. Any chance this can be recovered? Just asking ... not like its a terribly big deal, but there were some good posts.
Thanks

Bill of Rights, I went to user CP, Edit options and made change to "display all threads" and clicked save changes. It still doesn't show all threads.

Bill of Rights, I noticed that on the Illinois forum the last post is 7/25 and the last post to The Pro Second Amendment Resolution is 6/17. I've made a number of posts to that topic in the last 3 months. Other forums also don't seem to have more recent posts. When a forum shows that the last post was about 2 months ago it gives the impression that very few people are posting, in the case of Illinois maybe not a lot, but more more often than that.

I am told that we lost a week or so of posts around the time of the move. I don't know what happened to those posts, but sadly, yes, I think they are gone. Prior to that, though, no, I don't know what happened to your posts, JB, nor do I know why you can't see all threads, unless you're looking for more recent ones that were in some way lost.
I'll nose around and see if I can find out more.
Blessings,

Sorry Junglebob - the new forum is different and more advanced than the old forum. We imported the old forum into the new forum and when ever you import things, they may not be 100%. We are trying to help make this a lot more usable and fun. Keep your questions and concerns coming!!!
I like it a lot, it is a great improvement over the other forum.

Everything seems to be okay right now. I think it was 2 days ago it would not let me log on, said my password was incorrect (even though it wasn't and it accepted it today), the email my password function said it worked but I never got any email either.
Glad it's up and fixed now though! Thanks for all the hard work.
