CCW Questions for oklahoma

Does anyone know if you have to wait the ten weeks to get the paperwork via SNAIL MAIL? or if there is some other way such as going to the local S.D.?
Do i have to have the paperwork to take a CCW class?

I know this last question would most likely be a instructor to instuctor variance, but would I need to bring a pistol to the class with me?

I am a CCW instructor. When I hold a class, I give all of the students an application and a set of the Oklahoma Statutes. When they leave the class and after passing the written and shooting part they get the certificate.

The next step is to fill out the application, get a Certified Check to the OSBI for $100, get two pass port photos and go to your local Sherrif for fingerprinting. In tulsa, the fee is $25.

They must respond within 90 days. It has been running almost all 90 days. If you pass the class and turn in your stuff - you can not carry until you get a call from the sherrif and go and pick up the CCW Permit.
