Will be moving to OKC in the next 2 or 3 months. Currently live in VA and can't wait for the move, atleast my permit will still be good in OK. Its too bad OK doesn't allow OC like here in VA.

Good luck with your move! I've never understood the thinking (dare I say logic) behind the open carry/concealed carry distinction. Why the law would sanction doing something in secret that it would prohibit doing openly is beyond me. I can see it the other way around, I don't agree with it, but I understand it. But, wouldn't you think that people who are afraid of guns would be even more afraid of them being carried around secretively? If you thought people with guns were dangerous, wouldn't you want the gun out there where you could see it? Authorizing concealed carry while banning open carry makes no sense to me at all.

I like the way you think. Many folks feel that CC is the only way to go and those who OC are the anti. I do both but mostly OC. Just depends on what clothes I have on and where I'm going. VA state law requires one to OC in any establishment the serves alcohol for on site consumption.
