Well, almost on my hip, that is. My birthday is at the end of November, so I used that and the anticipation of Christmas to justify buying a new gun. I got a Smith & Wesson .500 with the 4" barrel. :D I took it out and shot it last week. I actually managed to run 10 rounds through it before I had to quit. It felt like my hand was going to fall off my arm. I can't wait to go again! Anyway, I have a Desantis holster, belt, and cartridge case coming. I put a pair of stag horn grips on it. I'm actually going to carry it every so often. God forbid that I should ever have to use it with those stag horn grips. I'm sure they would rip the flesh right off my hand. Come to think of it, God forbid that I should ever have to use it, period. The leather goods should be here next week. I've been preparing myself by listening to as much Marty Robins as I can take. 8)
