I recall hearing once that God has a purpose for everyone, if only to serve as a horrible example to others!
Well, that seems to be the case with OJ here in Las Vegas.
Just about the 1st rule of CCW is that we never use our weapons to win arguments, or to force others to comply with our will. Even if we're 100% in the right, we never prove our point, at gun point.
So, OJ thinks the men in the hotel room have his stuff. Stuff that still rightfully belongs to him. Stuff that was stolen from him by someone sometime in the past. His solution was to go to the hotel room with armed accomplices, and take back the stuff at gun point. That's totally wrong. Even if OJ is proven correct, that it was his stolen stuff that he was recovering from the hotel room, he still committed an armed assault and probably a robbery as well.
We need to be very clear in our own minds that legal use of our gun is generally limited to self defense and defense of others. Property related disputes do not count. Unless I encountered a thief inside my own home, I wouldn't use my gun to prevent someone from walking away with any of my property. You might (uncertainty emphasized!) be justified in shooting to prevent the escape of a fleeing felon. But, I sure wouldn't bet my freedom on that one.
