The last I heard, the people that run these classes are getting close to retirement and want to sell the business. If the semiconductor industry gets any closer to dying, I just might be taking them up on it.

In case it interests anyone, I have started the process for becoming a Texas DPS certified Instructor for CHL classes. I worked with Ross of CHL Texas this past weekend to get my feet wet. I am taking several NRA classes to prepare for whenever the next 40 hour course is scheduled (One scheduled per year). My first NRA class is to become an NRA instructor for Basic Pistol.

The guy that is teaching that NRA class asked me how comfortable I thought I would be in front of a class. When I informed him that I am an instructor in the semiconductor industry and have been teaching classes for the past nine years, I think that answered his question.

Sorry for being away for so long. I made the move to a Mac and I believe that is causing issues with my connectivity here. I thought it was because the site was down. I will investigate to see if it is a Safari or Firefox issue. I am on a dreaded PC at work right now.
