We need to make sure that we contact each of our senators and congressmen/women as well as the new POTUS and let them know in clear terms that we as CCW holders will in no way tolerate ANY attempt by the incoming administration a ban on our CCW or any other tax or law to make a ban, backdoor or otherwise on any arms.

With as many states that are now “shall issue” states, we can make it clear to any anti gun politico that we CAN AND WILL vote them out and change to face of congress. Bam Bam needs to know deep down in his bones we are not playing here. We WILL vote as a BLOCK on this issue in EVERY election from here on out!

Not so fast there, Bear Poop! I for one sure do care. And I will definitely be contacting all my legislators demanding they hold the line on Obama's commitment to honor our 2nd Amendment rights. In the meantime, encourage everyone you know to buy a gun and join the NRA, USCCA.

this new admin scares me to no end on way too many issues. I'm just hoping that too many on the left can see that voting anti CCW or anti ANY gun issue will cause them to be ousted in 2010.

Looking at the rating by Gun Owners of America on our Illinois Senators - Durbin F- and Burris
F. Burris just got in replacing Obama, can't see how he could be any worse. Looking at the Congressmen mine is rated at C, 2 are rated B, 6 are rated A or A- and 10 are F or F-. I'm hoping there are enough southern democrats opposing bad gun legislation. The normal response to writing a letter to Durbin about firearms legislation is a form letter. Burris will be in for 2 years and he has said he won't run for reelection, at least he said that at the time of his appointment.
