I am proclaiming January 29 as Blagojevich Day in honor of our impeached governor, removed from office on 1/29/2009. He has the honor of being the first Illinois Governor to be impeached. Since he was also arrested on federal charges he may get to spend time with former Illinois governor George Ryan in the future. Blagojevich may have been the most anti-gun anti-self defense Illinois governor to serve in my lifetime.
Blagojevich has been replaced by lieutenant governor Pat Quinn. It is rumored that Quinn would support LTC. If that is so and a LTC bill could get out of committee for a vote there is a chance this "right denied" state could join the 48 other states that issue.
