I'm my travels around the area I noticed no weapon signs on doors. I know they can not restrict carry in a car in a parking lot. All city or gov owned buildings you can't carry into them.

I guess what I'm getting at is what about on the property. I take my kids to the OKC zoo and see signs on all the doors at the entrance buildings. I did talk to security and they said it was zoo wide not just inside the buildings at the front entrance.

A couple other things I can't seem to get correct answers on are..

You can carry into a restaurant that serves alcohol as long as it’s not the #1 money maker but you can't carry into a liquor store because it is the #1 money maker. I take it that if alcohol is the #1 money maker then carry is off limits (is this correct).

I have a VA resident permit but I just bought a house here in OKC. I maintain a WA drivers license as that’s my home of record being active duty stationed here. I called the VA state police and they said it’s still valid even though I moved and can change it to a non-res permit now if I wanted too. I called the OSBI and they said my permit was valid here and I would need to get an OK permit till my VA expired but I could if I wanted to.

I explained several times my point that I now live in OK, I own a home, I'm active duty but they still couldn't straight up say "you VA permit is void and you need a Ok permit now".

I have even asked a couple FFL's and LEO's they all give me a questionable look. They way I see it and what I'm going to do is apply for a OK resident permit and also have my current VA resident permit changed into a non-resident permit.

Any thoughts by y'all on any of this. I know it sounds strange and such but I'm trying to keep myself in check with the law and still be able to carry in defense of my family and myself.
