Lets Get things moving in NY, elections are upon us

Lets get to basics and elect some gun friendly judges and sherrifs in our respective counties...
Left without anyone watching we will lose what little freedoms we have left.

I gratuated from High School in New York and loved it.....but the gun laws now would frustrate me.

Just trying to post the laws on this site is like pulling teeth. I have gotten e-mails from folks that are not happy with the New York section and I give them the only reasources we can find.

I will try to remain calm when discussing the gun laws of the great State of New York.
Lets just start by saying that there is some inconsistincy between geographical areas.
thanks again for the welcome and look forward to getting a few others to join the cause for our rights as citizens.

I suppose we could start by asking our Anti-Gun Senator Shumer who;s main adjenda is to disarm everyone except the police and other agencys that the goverment controls...perhaps we could start by asking him if he is so "anti-gun" then why does he have a concealed carry permit issued by the NYPD?
Of course he can carry anywhere in the State, us lowlifes are not allowed to carry in NYC....I guess we have the "cheeseball" permits...

Remember, these are the people who believe that they know what is best for us even if we don;t think so...and they will do their best to legislate their morality for the rest of us...

In keeping with hunting tradition here in the North Country, I would urge all NY hunters to join their local Gun Clubs and do what it takes to get the club as a group to send petitions and letters to their representatives, I hate to use that word as we are for the most part un-represented...
Make it clear that as sportsmen and citizens we demand the same respect for our right to possess firearms as the Newspaper demands freedom of speach....without the 2nd ammendment there would be no others...
we die in battle for our freedoms and yet for whatever reason the tools that are used in the securing of our freedoms are off limits to us as the citizens who die defending the constitution...it is not a selective document as so many politicians seem to interpert it....you either embrace it as a whole or discount it the same way, it cannot be taken piecemeal...
Remember, with the freedom to have and possess firearms we are Citizens, with out those freedoms we are subjects.....enjoy hunting season, only this time hunt for unfriendly politicians and vote them out....anti-gun judges, senators, assemblymen, local and state...they are either our friends or they are not.
Lets see if we can;t make some headway in ensureing that our Constitutional Rights are not taken away or eroded any more than they have already been...driving a car in NY is a privilege, owning a firearm is a right ....it is time that our representatives learn the difference...
