Missouri Representing...

Hello to everyone from Missouri. I too (along with VegasGeorge) am a California escapee, but I escaped fairly early in life. I was born and raised in the California desert and the northern fertile valley's of California before moving to Missouri with my family for the last 2 years of high school. Since then I have married and have 3 kids, all of whom are trained in the use of firearms.

Guns, to me, generally have one purpose and that is self defense. Since moving to Missouri, I have been solicited to hunt from time to time, but I can't say it is really my thing. That being said, the deer around here are really getting thick this year and I may have to do my part to help that situation. :)

I'm glad to be here on this forum, I have posted several times already and plan to continue to post when I have questions or opinions.

Great to hear from Missouri. Don't you get a kick out of seeing Arnold on TV trying to get us all to come back to Kalifornia? Ha, ha, ha!

Yeah, Arnold isn't going to get me back for anything other than visits anytime soon. I love the landscape, California is a beautiful state. I even love the desert landscape, but maybe that's because I grew up in it. I absolutely hate the politics and all the rights that are taken away from the law abiding citizens and given to the criminals instead. I just don't understand the logic of some of these people.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here and you'll be hearing from me often.
