FYI - I just installed Leopard yesterday on two Macs, my Mac Pro, and my Mac Book Pro. The installations were very easy. No problems at all. They took about 45 minutes each. All of my personal settings, etc., were properly retained, and so far, all of my applications and peripherals work just fine.
The only thing out of the ordinary that's happened was some difficulty opening an email attachment. It was an image file with an .eml file extension. For some reason, my Mac was trying to open it using Microsoft's Outlook Express, and Parallels was balking due to a missing driver issue. I had to reassign the default application for opening .eml files to Mac's Mail program, then everything was OK.
So, all in all, the upgrade to Leopard is going just fine. I'll report again if anything untoward happens.
