There is lots to learn from this one.

1: The bad guy does not like being shot at and tries to get into a cop car.
2: The good guy pulles a "SHOTGUN" out of his truck! Wow - I am surprised that he did not go to jail.
3: The police are casual about the whole thing. All of my police buds would be all over a guy pulling a shot gun out in a parking lot. They would understand why and give the guy some slack, but he may end up getting whacked with charges.

Most places, that's probably true, Stubob... but we're talking about Texas. Granted, it's Houston, which means it's still "big city", but you just can't argue with success, and "LET ME IN! THEY'RE SHOOTING AT ME!!" is success in my book.
