This site was recommended by CA CCWInstructor. Having browsed it for the last few days I can see why he recommended it. It looks like a good deal of effort went into making a first class website.

I currently have a California CCW and have previously held CCWs in Alabama, North Carolina, and Georgia.

I am retired military with a background in Law Enforcement, Investigations, and Intelligence Analysis. I look forward to positively contributing to the site wherever I can.

Thank you for the welcome, I appreciate it. I look forward to contributing.

I must warn you that I have been known to be a little "Long Winded" when discussing things I have a passion for. Something that will be quite apparent if you look at some of my posts on CalCCW.com.

As for my "Impressive Credentials", I am one of the least impressive guys I know, but I appreciate the sentiment.

Welcome Poogsdad! I spent my career in Monterey, CA. Not, exactly "north" but definitely away from the SoCal thing. How far north are you?

Don't worry, you won't be the only long winded member here. In fact, I was thinking in terms of some kind of blow hard contest. We'll have to see. :lol:

Thanks for the welcome VegasGeorge. I am up above Eureka, CA about 80 miles from the Oregon Border.

I am very impressed with what I have seen so far on CarryConcealed.net and look forward to contributing.

Welcome aboard Poogsdada. Good to see another CA native out here. I spent a good portion of my growing up years just north of Sacramento. Not near as far north as you, but I did make many trips north into your neck of the woods.
