Yes, I like the fact that these two fellows had their CCW permits, and were able to defend themselves and prevent a robbery.

I am concerned, however, about the continuation of the gunfight after the robbers fled. I wasn't there, so I'm not sure about the circumstances. So, I won't go so far as to fault these fellows for what they did. I will say that the prudent thing to do is duck for cover and stop shooting as soon as possible. The last thing we need is for CCW permit holders engaging in unnecessary street gun battles.

I agree.

I also had a similar concern that the good guys continued to engage when it was no longer necessarry. Since I likewise was not there I am not qualified to comment further.
