Sadly,
locally the playing field looks the same, same faces, same ideas, same misconceptions....same anti-gun
Sooner or later things will change. I have been fighting this fight for 30 years and there is no end in sight.
I urge all New Yorkers that are involved with firearms, sportsmen, hunters, cops , everyone who believes in a free democracy to get a hand gun license.
Even if you never own a hand gun, get a licence.
Excersise your rights under the law, all of them.
Remember, if you don;t use your arm for long enough it will simply shrivel up and die...kinda like the second ammendment.
If we don;t use it it will die, and then my friends , everything else will die as a result.

The motto of the opencarry.org site which promotes open handgun carry is "A right unexcercised is a right lost" That is very true in Wisconsin where it is legal to open carry. I lived there for 30 years and never recall anyone open carrying. Now people interested in getting concealed carry talk about open carry marches, but most people think they will be arrested for disorderly conduct.
