I own a Springfield XD .45 ACP 4'' and since it is the only one that i own i would have to say i LOVE IT!!!

however i have been shooting with a few guys on here and they have some pistols that i would not mind either

Of course, the best gun is the one you have with you when you need it. That's why CCW is such an important part of gun ownership.

I, too, have a number of friends with different guns. Each seems to like what he has, but all of us have our eyes on another weapon or two that might be nice to own. I think you have to decide whether or not you are going to start collecting guns. Because, that's what happens over the years if you succumb to temptation and buy another, then another, etc. I have friends who own more guns than they can remember, and never use them. Most of them are packed away somewhere in their garages. That has never been my interest. I'm more of a one gun man. Maybe someday I'll buy another, but if I do, there'll be a nice, lovingly used Kimber Ultra CDP II, for sale.

Kimber Ultra Carry SS, its an oldie from the late 90s and has always been on my CCW. Like VegasGeorge wrote, I'm one of those guys who over the years now have a collection. I've had several compact 1911s on the CCW, but the Kumber Ultra rules the roost. A very close 2nd is my Les Baer Stinger, but that is now a safe queen and is really only brought out for the "Ooohs and Aaaahs"
