School Cameras Fed Live to Cops

Can someone please tell me how this "expensive remedy" will prevent school shootings? The cops will be able to watch a school shooting, but they won't be able to prevent it. The simple solution would be to arm teachers. You don't see school massacres in Israel because BG's know that's the wrong place to be because schools are full of armed teachers. When will we learn such simple lessons?!!!! :roll:

I believe I read recently that 15% of the adults in Israel carry. If there is a threat of terrorism police cheifs will notify all civilians with a carry permit to be sure to be carrying. You are right about teachers carrying there, we're slow learners here. We can't seem to learn from the experience of others. That especially applies to people like Chicago politicians and school administrators.

A high school in southern Illinois had a student take a handgun to school. He gave it to his girl friend before the lunch hour. She left the school with it and gave it back to him when she returned. A student saw this and reported it. He was arrested the following school day. The paper said "all students the next day were going through a metal detector" The metal detector was installed the year before! The police cheif said after questioning the students, "they had no plans to use the gun." Was it a dare? Maybe somebody said "I bet you can't get a gun into the school!" Want to bet?
