...I've ever visited where a woman (Lady Di) posts as much if not more than any of the men, at least from what I've seen since joining. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Lady Di, you do a fine job. We'd be a better country with more women (and a lot of men) like yourself. Tip o' the hat to you, ma'am.

Thank you, McCreary. If you only knew.....when I first joined it took me a long time to get the nerve to write my first post. I was very intimidated by the knowledge of the men around here, not to mention the testosterone levels. But you know how it is, once a woman starts talking, you can't shut her up. Seriously, St. Michael encouraged me to become involved and I'm very glad I did. My goal is to get more women involved and I'm working on that behind the scenes. St. Michael and I would like to make Indiana the standard bearer around here. This is a classy place due to the efforts of Stubob, Dan, Raccoon and others. I'm just honored to play a small role. :D
I'm so excited. I just received a package in the mail. I have a few leather concealed carry purses to try out. Do you know the excitement a woman gets from a new purse?!! Multiply that by 4!!! It's better than.....well, you know.

Lady Di, you have added a lot to the Forum and the site. Our goal is to be a complete site for Concealed Carry. We will never take the place of the Cornered Cat, we hope to get woman interested in CCW and even send more people her way.
The difference that you have made on the site is significant. We are looking foward to your review with the Roma Leather Purses. I just did not feel "Qualified" to write that one. I did not think that all of the other contributors would want to jump on that one. (In fact, I would be worried if they did....
Thanks again!

I read somewhere that 25% of those getting carry permits are women. If that figure is even close we should have more woman on the forum.

I'll second that. Lady Di may not have the years carrying that some of our members do (For that matter, neither do I!) but she's bright, she's a quick study, and she has wisdom. (This is defined as knowing what one does not know and knowing how to remedy that problem, a skill sorely lacking in so many these days.) She also has heart, and I'm proud to call her my friend.
Cornered Cat has it's niche. This is ours. A complementary relationship can only help both sites and ultimately, the community at large.
Stubob, I think that you probably made a good choice in not sending the purses to the rest of us to review. My wife can't even get me to hold hers for her at the doctor's office. I think if the good Lord had meant for men to carry purses, He wouldn't have put back pockets on our blue jeans.
Blessings,
M
