It sure looks like extreme shock ammo works well. Perhaps too well.

I think the best idea is to use the same ammo, or type of ammo used by your local police or sheriff. I wouldn't want 12 jurors, who keep wondering why I didn't just shoot the gun out of the bad guy's hand like they do in the movies, looking at that video and thinking what a cold blooded killer I am.

I've heard this suggestion before, George, and it makes sense, doubly so coming from you. I wonder, though, as to the converse side that if you're carrying "the same thing our local police use", how hard would it be for a prosecutor to make the claim that you're a "wannabe"?

As for me, I carry what I carry. I practice with WWB because it's less expensive and my pistol likes to eat it. I carry Federal Hydra Shock because I believe it will do the job it claims to do: Stop the threat.
If I can do that without pulling the trigger, so much the better, but if I can't, I want something that will speak more persuasively. There are few things in this world more persuasive than 135gr. JHPs to center mass.

We have a test that we are trying to schedule on Extreme shock. I have the balistic Gel blocks, ammo, gun stand, sheet rock and all we need to do is schedule the tests.

That video is very impresive. We had offers from Europe to show us what happend on real stories and we chose not to show those.

There is enough of a claim by some folks that the .9mm offers the same stopping power of a Hydrashock .45. This is something we will test and get written up.

They did a great study on the Extreme Shock and had some fun doing it. They did not use ballistic gel and that may impact some of the findings.
