We would have read about a tragedy in the newspaper if this quick thinking homeowner had not been armed. If Sarah Brady types had their way, the BG's would still be out terrorizing citizens.

Wow, yet another neck shot! This is becoming an epidemic.

It is interesting that a truce was called in the middle of this gunfight, and the victim allowed a perpetrator to come into the house and carry away his wounded companion. It reminds me of the truces called during some historical battles for the purpose clearing the wounded from the battleground.

I have to admire the way this old guy (my age, by the way) handled himself. Good job there, fella!

I have to wonder why there have been so many of those neck shots. I'm thinking it could be that they aim COM and jerk the gun, but I think more than likely, even with the numbers we've seen, it's just where they happen to hit.
