Stubob wrote Nodaywithout - Here is my prediction - You will have more than 3 holsters for that gun very shortly...........

Ok I have had the gun less than a month and i have purchased my second holster already. it is right handed but i could not resist with it being $5 at walmart and it fits my SA XD .45 and one mag. in all honesty it was meant for an airsoft gun.
And i really want my CCW! dang waiting periods

 in all honesty, I'd be surprised if you only acquired three holsters. I have boxes full and a drawer full of the ones that I consider still "being used." My wife keeps asking me to get rid of the ones that I don't use. Good luck at holster hunting. :D

Yup. I have three (two that I use) now for my carry gun, but none for my other, a .22 I use at the range.

I can say nothing ill of the C-TAC from http://www.comp-tac.com. It's comfortable and is my usual IWB carry holster.
Similarly, I am pleased with my Uncle Mike's cross-harness horizontal shoulder holster. I don't use it often, but it is comfortable and secure and it works well for me.

We won't talk about the Kangaroo. Mom always said if you can't say something nice, don't say anything.

Cogito, ergo porto.

We all wind up with more holsters than we can use. Today I'm wearing my Galco thumb break holster for the very first time. I'll put a shirt jacket over it when I take my wife down to the Fashion Show Mall on the Strip. Always something new!

OK, I'm sitting here in the Fashion Show Mall right now, bumming the Internet off the access point in the Apple store. My wife's off shopping somewhere. The Galco is on my right side, and rides nice and high. I have it pushed way back, and the little shirt jacket covers it nicely. This really is the most comfortable way to carry concealed that I've found. It's just like an open belt holster except that the shirt covers it.

Once more I'm playing "find the gun" with the crowd going by. One day I will actually spot someone who is carrying. But frankly, I've been watching for a year or two, and I have yet to see a concealed weapon. I know there are a lot of them going by. People are just real good at hiding them!

Oh, c'mon... please elaborate!

Don't make me go buy one jsut to find out how bad they are! :D

Myself, I have a SERPA holster that I use for Open carry (and CC under my jacket) and an Uncle Mikes that I use IWB in the small of my back for CC.

Stay away from the Uncle Mikes CC holsters with metal clips though... they eat pants, shirts and car seats.

I have an acquired over the years an extremely large" collection" of quality leather holsters, as well as quite a number of different handguns. Remember, you can't have too many guns! (The more guns, the more safes), my wife has now informed me, "every time you buy a gun, you must buy me jewelry of equal value." Ahhh, life is good!

OK, since you asked... hehehe

I wrote a review of it when I got it- suffice it to say I was displeased. I'd re-post the review, but I can't locate it now. I think I PM'd it to be posted and it's probably cycled out of my "sent" box by now. I didn't like the vertical direction of it, the height at which it held my pistol, the fact that it had to be worn under the shirt, making access, unless wearing a button-up shirt or a John Travolta (Saturday Night Fever) special, impossible. It was uncomfortable to me and useless for carrying my gun such as to make it comforting to have there. I think it would have done a nice job holding my gun until the perp decided to take it and shove it up my  and that's about it.

All that said, I've read other reviews from people who've carried in shoulder holsters for years, and they seemed to like it, so maybe the problem is just my perception, I don't know. Regardless, I'm not going to be using this one except maybe (MAYBE!) to carry an extra mag if I don't want it in a pants pocket- it certainly won't be used to carry my pistol. I do appreciate receiving it to review, and the quality of the holster does not diminish that appreciation any, I simply can't give it a good review at all, not and be truthful.

Now I have a Q for you, too. You mention the Uncle Mike's with metal clips-Do you mean clips like to fasten to a belt, buckle clips like you slide a fabric strap through, both of the above, or something else entirely? My cross harness from UM has the metal buckle clips, but I've not had any problem with it as yet. Do I need to be wary?

Thanks for your feedback, and Mom, sorry, but at least I was nice in how I said it. (not like she reads this BB anyway)

Blessings,
M

Sorry, I should have been more clear...

I'm talking about the metal belt clips only.

I have an Uncle Mikes IWB Sidekick that holds an extra mag:

http://www.lildobe.net/albums/view.php?sid=Guns&cid=Glock_22&type=jpg&pid=Conceal_Holster_2

That belt clip became very sharp very fast and not only cut a hole in the drivers seat of my car, it also wore holes through 3 shirts and a pair of pants as well as puncturing the vinyl seats of several restaurant booths.

Until I get a better IWB holster, I'm open carrying (Very much legal in my state) and the uncle mikes is staying clipped to the door pocket in my truck!
