This is a good listing of free targets. When heading to the range and you forgot it is easy to print a few.

The wife and I quit buying targets at the range some time ago. We've been printing our own and that's been working out much better. Because she shoots a .45, the paper doesn't tend to last long. :)

If you're printing your own, try using card stock rather than copier paper. Adds some thickness and weight to the page.

I usually shoot half size silhouettes, for much the same reason I used to practice darts on a "Champion's Choice" board: The double and triple rings are half the thickness. If you can hit a trip-20 on a Champion's Choice, doing so on a standard board is no problem. (and yes, I'm dating myself here- these were actual bristle boards with steel darts, none of this soft-tip jazz.)

Blessings,
B
