My hat is off to this young man. Armed Security Officers are given very little required training. So it is the individual officers responsiblity to became a good shot.
I have been through an incident similar to this and believe me it was not fun. You are stripped of your gun, questioned and told that you may face possible charges. Investigator then work the case and the DA must look at the evidence and decide to charge or rule self defense.
Unlike police officers, he is just a average joe citizen and will be treated as such. There is no department counslors to talk to about the face he just took a human life. This can seriously play with your mind and depending on the person PTSD may sit in. It is a tramatic thing when that which you train for becomes real, when there is a real face attached to your target.
