Pennsylvania has among the most lax gun laws in the country? God, I'd love to see this reporter ("journalist" is far too polite a word) face to face with a criminal or terrorist, screaming for help and wetting his panties, hoping and praying for someone with a gun to save his sorry butt.

Blessings,
M

Why, I declare, St. Michael, you're beginning to sound just like me! Could it be that I'm having an influence on you?

Could be, George. Or maybe we all just get p!$$ed at the same things because we all recognize Liberal *ahem* "bravo-sierra" when we see it.

How is one gun a month going to stop LEOs from being killed. They are right that Philadelphia's murder rate is high for 2006 it was 27 per 100,000, but in the "gun shine state" Jacksonville Florida had a rate of 13, Indianapolis 15, Tulsa 13, Las Vegas 11, Washington D.C. 29, and Chicago 16. Surprised that Chicago was that low, I thought it was still the murder capital, maybe just behind D.C. Lets see Washington D.C.'s low rate of 29 is due to strict gun control laws and Indianapolis's high rate of 15 is due to lax gun laws, shall issue CCW laws allowing people 18 and older to get handgun permits with no training course required. They also recognize permits from states like Pa, where a training course is not required, and they even issue to Illinoisans. Almost every Chicago politician knows Illinoisans can't be trusted, that's why they vote against CCW legislation.

Not surprising that Philly wants to enact stricter gun laws than the state. Weren't Philly residents required to get permits from the police department, on a may issue basis I believe, when the rest of the state went shall issue?

One gun a month is a good start. I think we all should buy AT LEAST one gun a month!!

Welcome to CarryConcealed, Daniel Boone! http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd198/St-Michael/wave.gif

I like the way you think. Now if we can just get the doggone things down in price where folks like me can afford to do that, we'll be in great shape!

Blessings,
