I guess there is a good reason why the instruction manual for the rifle steel targets say ' hang with the targets positioned at an angle down'

I show this on in my gun safety classes under the topic "Things NOT to do"

You might want to turn your speakers up on this one.. it really adds to the effect!

Sounded like steel targets to me. Pie-plates, maybe, but at the wrong angle for safety. Apparently there was enough power behind the shot to send it back at almost a perfect return angle to come within about 10 feet of the shooter offing himself.

As for what his head is made of, that, I cannot say. It seems to be filled with rock or air, however, or basically anything BUT brains!

just before it hit him there is a puff of dust in front of the shooting stand.
