Our leaders need to be reminded of past mistakes as our country trends toward socialism. This is well worth the two minutes it takes to read.

Great article, thanks for sharing.
Our leaders need to be reminded of many things. Starting with the fact that they are supposed to work for us, not the reverse!

Lady Di - This is only the tip of the ice burg, as the buy outs cost a little more than did the first Thanksgiving Dinner!
thanks.

As Aristotle noted, "That which is common to the greatest number has the least care bestowed upon it."
You see, I maintain that liberals are insane. We all know the definition of insanity; doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results each time. What better example than the nutty idea that socialism in any of its forms will work? It's just plain goofy thinking. There isn't any other way to describe it.

Vegas - as usual - you are right. I am looking for an artical that I ran accross published in the 1940s predicting that the US would fall to Socialism and we would loose all of our rights with out a shot being fired.
As soon as I find the article I will post it.
thanks.

the problem is that the left thinks that the failures are because the wrong people were in charge and that THEY KNOW how to avoid failure. Huge egos! HUGE!!! REALLY HUGE!!!!!!!

1. "predicting that the US would fall to Socialism" This could happen. It may be out of our control.
2. "we would loose all of our rights with out a shot being fired." This part is entirely within our control. We only have to decide how serious we are about America, our rights, and the rights of our grandchildren to come.
