Hi all,
Yes, it's me, the moderator formerly known as St.Michael. No, I'm not on the run from the law, nor from creditors any more than anyone else is. I decided that while the attributes and "vocation" of Michael (the Archangel) as patron saint of law enforcement were honorable, Michael is not my real name, and it sounded deceptive. There also is the matter of introducing oneself in public...and as Lady Di is so quick to point out, I am no saint.
Thus, I asked ccadmin to please make the change, and recognizing my reasoning, he agreed to do so. It seems he agrees with Lady Di-I am no saint.
Nonetheless, I will continue posting as always, moderating when necessary and not otherwise, and no, George, we're not re-setting my post count. If you have more or less posts, I don't care... But it does give something of a grin when you realize you're back ahead of me, doesn't it?
Be well, all, and as before, so now:
Blessings,
B

Well, Bill, I'm glad you finally came out of the closet.

What a name change.....it brings to mind that old saturday morning song " I just a Bill sitting on capital hill". Is that a demotion? From an Arch Angel to a Bill, even the Bill of Rghts falls hort of the Great power of a War Angel.
All kidding aside, good choice on a new handle. The cornerstone of our freedom, I like it!!!

That's funny, because Bill of Rights emailed me back channel and mentioned the same Saturday morning song. In fact, he sent me this link to it. http://www.school-house-rock.com/AmericaRock.html
I agree the handle is appropriate, because Bill is Right about a lot of things. :D

Funny thing... for a few minutes, I'd changed my avatar, too.

Then I saw VegasGeorge's suggestion that I was hiding out from creditors and the law, and I decided a name change was enough; I didn't need to change my "face", too.
War Angel? Hey, I'm a lover, not a fighter.
(OK, you can stop coughing "Bull$#!t" now.)
Thanks for the kind words, both of you. :)
Blessings,

You need to be careful - this is a whole new coming out of the closet.

Oh wow! You mean to say there was a previous coming out? We gotta hear about that one too!
Anyway, I think this is a good change. My computer kept thinking St. Michael was a street name, and kept displaying a Google Maps image of some funky address in downtown Oakland. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that, would you Bill ?

Thank you SO much, Lady Di.
Very well. Considering the usual meaning of "coming out of the closet", I will say that that term does not apply. I am not a homosexual, nor have I ever been. I have no problem with those who are. You are who you are and I respect that.
From over there. (points)
In other words, do what you want, with whom you want, just don't get behind me. http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd198/St-Michael/nonono.gif

(Oh, and Lady Di? I'll roll my eyes whenever I darn well feel like it, thankyouverymuch! )

Now, Bill, why would you think that I was referring to coming out of THAT closet?
For the record, I will say that Bill of Rights is hetero ALL the way. He's quite the lady's man, too! (Will that earn me a wink instead of an eyeroll?)

Hi DVickers, and welcome to CarryConcealed! http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd198/St-Michael/wave.gif
I look forward to reading your input as well, and BTW, you lost that bet. Hey Stubob! What's the payoff for losing an unspecified bet around here? Policing the brass at the CCDN range? http://i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd198/St-Michael/shooter.gif
I'm kidding, of course, DVickers. Glad to have you here and again, welcome.
Blessings,
B
