How about each state's "No Carry" list? I'm talking about the places you're not allowed by state statute to carry even with a permit.

"Sterile" areas at airports
On a plane (presumably commercial)
On riverboat casinos (must give you a place to secure your weapon)

Governmental units other than townships may also regulate any building, land, or property they own or maintain, like courthouses, etc., may, by zoning, prevent a business from selling guns within 200 feet of a school by any business that did not do so prior to 1 April 1994, and may adopt emergency ordinances preventing gun sales for no longer than 72 hours. (So buy 'em before you need 'em!)

What would be really helpful is a list of 2nd Amendment and firearms lawyers in the various States, so that one would know who to call for legal help in the event of trouble. Perhaps someone at the NRA has such a list. I'm thinking of criminal defense attorneys with an interest or specialty in firearms issues.

Would you recommend a page like our courses listings for the states? I will check and see if the NRA has a list and if it is available.

I think both of these suggestions are great. They would be a valuable addition to the website resources.. for me, particularly the 'no carry' areas by state. Many states don't allow carry in churches... for example.

As far as law goes, i would like to see a list lawyers i have one lawyer that i was refered too at work, i figured it would be nice to have a number for a lawyer just in case i ever need one (i hope i never have too)
