    Smile 5.11 Belt

In light of my walmart bought leather belt wearing out after 7 months of normal use and 10 months of carry use, it was time to get a new belt. After all my notch was now a whole in which my thumb (about an inch wide) could fit through.
After some research and great review from a friend, i purchased a belt intended for carry, made by 5.11 tactical, the trainer model.
This belt only costs $30, and holds my G30, spare mag, and a flashlight very well.
no longer will i have to readjust my belt and holster everytime i get in or out of the car. (Yay)

The only down fall my fat belly sits right on top of the buckle, more reason to loose weight

But as a belt is the foundation to a great carry system, i can deal with a bit of comfort.

    I highly recommend this product.

I bought one of those with an NRA logo, through the NRA on-line store. They are great gear platforms, to help hold your weapon and other gear securely. They may not be compatible with all holsters, such as a particular model of Blade-Tech kydex paddle holster that doesn't work because of the thickness of the belt.

Until recently, I've always bought belts at Sears or Pennys or Macys, etc. Just a couple of weeks ago, I received a belt made by Destantis, specifically for carrying a holster. It is 1 3/4 wide, and 1/8" thick. It really is a lot sturdier than the belts I've been used to. It was an eye opener for me. I never realized how wimpy my other belts are. The holster feels much more secure on the Desantis belt.
